Our morning panoramic walking tour starts at the Piazzale Michelangelo, meeting point at the monument with the five beautiful bronze replicas of Michelangelo's masterpieces - including David - [one can reach the Piazzale Michelangelo by taxi or by city bus nr. 12 or 13 ( terminus ), or by car if you are spending your holiday in a Tuscan green farm or hotel outside Florence (possibility of free parking at the Piazzale Michelangelo itself !!]. Our expert tour-guide will provide you with a detailed geographical description of the city and its surrounding hills and subsequently of its major buildings and their location in the urban fabric. Afterwards we reach and visit the majestic Romanesque basilica of San Miniato al Monte, famous for its splendid, harmonious architecture, its glass-mosaics and marble incrustations and our tour continues reaching the downtown area, through picturesque winding roads with a view onto the medieval city walls to end up at the Pitti Palace area.
