White Walk: Santo Spirito Quarter

This tour starts from Piazza della Repubblica - the very center of Florence - and proceeds southwards towards Ponte Vecchio, certainly the most famous Florentine bridge, the only one still original from the 14th century, we also follow the course of the Vasari Corridor and  visit the beautiful Church Santa Felicita, enriched with a fantastic altarpiece by Jacopo del Pontormo. We  continue along the elegant Via dei Guicciardini and  reach soon  the vast Piazza Pitti, with its gigantic Palazzo Pitti, after an exhaustive description of this architectural milestone of Renaissance private architecture, we move towards the Augustinian Church of Santo Spirito, last creation from Filippo Brunelleschi, judged as the most beautiful church in the world by Baroque's genius Bernini!
