The history of Florence  narrated in its iconic symbol of political power: the Palazzo della Signoria better known as the Old Palace in Florence ( Palazzo Vecchio ).

This tour focuses on the major historical events occurred in Florence from the end of 13th century to the 16th century when the Medici family occupied the Palazzo Vecchio - Old Palace - superposing their image of enlightened tyrants to the previous Republican.

The history of the city of Florence will be revealed within its most symbolic, political building by the means of its extraordinarily richly decorated rooms both during the Republican period and the Princedom, personified by the Medici Dukes and Grand-Dukes. This unique Palazzo houses absolute masterpieces by Donatello, Andrea del Verrocchio, Michelangelo, Pierino da Vinci and Giorgio Vasari.
