_ Breathtaking views of Florence from Uffizi Gallery’s panoramic terrace,
_ Exclusive walk through the Vasari Corridor with exhaustive description of its unique collection of artists’ self-portraits.
Our tour starts with an orientation tour through the historical center with a description of the Florentine religious and political center, thus both Piazza del Duomo with its Baptistery, Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore and Giotto's Bell-tower and the Piazza della Signoria with its elegant Loggia next to the Palazzo Vecchio. Then we enter into the Uffizi Painting Gallery through a reserved access - a true skip-the-line - to admire the museum’s highlights, such as works by Giotto, Gentile da Fabriano, Piero della Francesca, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Around 11.40 am we will enjoy a break for reaching the spectacular panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of major Florentine buildings.
At 12:00 am we start the visit of the exclusive Vasari Corridor with its unique collection of self-portraits, real gem among the collections of the Medici family. Marvellous views of the Ponte Vecchio, as well as of the Arno River and of the splendid Florentine hills. At the exit of the Vasari Corridor the guide will describe the Grotta del Buontalenti and then will accompany participants outside the Pitti Palace. End of tour.
